The 2021 swim will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the events of September 11, 2001, and is dedicated to the memory of those that died and served on that day.

The Liberty to Freedom Swim is a challenging open water event, involving a Hudson River channel crossing in typically choppy conditions. All participants must provide proof of recent, comparable open water swim experience, and must swim at a pace of 30 minutes per mile or faster.
All swimmers must provide proof of complete Covid 19 Vaccination and wear a mask when in proximity to others.
