Join us for our annual Rose Pitonof Swim from East 23rd Street, Manhattan to Steeplechase Pier, Coney Island.
Rose Pitonof, World Champion Swimmer of the early 1900s, was the first person ever to successfully complete this challenging 17 mile Swim at the young age of 17.
Channel Rules (swim cap, goggles, non-heat retentive traditional swim suit only, no physical assistance) are observed, and proof of a recent 3 mile open water swim are required prior to participating.
